Looking to make extra money

There are so many work from home gimmicks out there that promise to make you some cash. Well as the phrase goes when buying a home or anything else buyer beware. Many of these so call money makers are not as they say. I have always said if you have to pay for the job look out. Now some of the companies or individual might ask for a small processing fee for materials but,it should not be a continual payment out of your pocket. Your looking to make money not lose money. The purpose of working from home is the convienence of not having to commute and being able to have a more flexible working enviroment. So the next time you are looking to make extra income do some research first it will pay off at the end.

The beauty of Art

I love to view art.I have always wondered what the artist’s thoughts were as he or she created beauty on canvas. The fine lines, the uniqueness of the shapes, and the imagination of the inner most parts of the artistist mind coming to life for the world to see.
It's intriguing for me to explore a painting and imagine myself transporting into the masterpiece to experience the mood it creates. Oh how I wish I had that talent. Art in my opinion is the expressions of the human mind awaken from a deep sleep.

The chaos has begun!!!!

Well folks the school season is upon us once again, so hold on to your emotions and get ready to navigate in traffic once again. The pleasure of it all,or to be perfectly honest the torture!!

Well, let me at least try to be more open minded at least the children are back in school getting the education so desperately needed. Then again, I ask myself why can't the summers be longer so we can enjoy the pleasures of driving on an open road with no school buses or extra vehicles rushing to get to their destination.

The bustling of the morning rush can be unbearable and so, for many of us, the morning commute will begin an extra half hour earlier than the norm. (The sacrafices one has to make!!)

Lets face it, it is what it is, so lets just make the best of it. One good thing about the school year is the tax free shopping that is definately a plus but again, some of us would really appreciate it more if it were extended past the weekend. Let's be real! most of us work weekends and finding the time to shop is impossible.

There is however,an alternative for those of us who are too busy at work and can't get to the stores and that my friend, is on-line shopping one of man's best known inventions (in my opinion). So my fellow americans with all the hustle and bustle that comes along with the school year we can still anticipate one thing and that is, the coming of the end of the school year!!! Hope that made you smile.

For now, most of us can certainly agree on one thing that this is a great country where we are free to educate and live our lives as we see fit.

Have a great year kids!!

God bless America!

Finding yourself in Life

"I live this life the best possible way I can" isn't that what most of us would say? You try to help the less fortunate and be a good role model to those who look up to you. The joy one feels in seeing smiles on the faces of the people you have blessed. For me, it is a blessing in itself. I have learned that to really live life you must first learn to care and love yourself. It took alot of struggle and pain for me personally to get to this conclusion and my faith in God has helped me to realize that you first have to love and care for yourself before you can love and care for someone else.

It's a great feeling when you know that you have made a difference in someone life but, in the process of helping others make sure you are also setting a side time for yourself. I have found that many people in life consume themselves with caring, working, and living for others. In the process of doing so, they have forgotten themselves.

It's amazing how the mind works and adapts to the world you yourself create.

Knowledge is progress and if you have no knowledge of something, whatever it may be there is no growth. learning to love and care for yourself is the first steps to living a healthy and joyous life. So today when you are taking care of the kiddies or your spouse or even a sick friend remember to allow a minute or two to care for yourself as well.

Lupus

Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body). Chronic means that the signs and symptoms tend to last longer than six weeks and often for many years. In lupus, something goes wrong with your immune system, which is the part of the body that fights off viruses, bacteria, and germs ("foreign invaders," like the flu). Normally our immune system produces proteins called antibodies that protect the body from these invaders. Autoimmune means your immune system cannot tell the difference between these foreign invaders and your body’s healthy tissues ("auto" means "self") and creates autoantibodies that attack and destroy healthy tissue. These autoantibodies cause inflammation, pain, and damage in various parts of the body.

I was diagnosed with the disease this past week and so, I have decided to educate myself as much as I can about the disease.

Lupus is also a disease of flares (the symptoms worsen and you feel ill) and remissions (the symptoms improve and you feel better). Lupus can range from mild to life-threatening and should always be treated by a doctor. With good medical care, most people with lupus can lead a full life.

My symptoms are more of the flare ups and the pain in the joints and so thank God as my doctor has describe I have the mild symptoms but, with that being said the pain could be unbearable. Still with new info on the disease still out there waiting to be discovered I at least Thank God that now I have a name for all my aches and pains. There still is alot of information to learn on the many forms of the Lupus disease and so my journey begins.

Anyone out there who has walk the walk let me hear from you and let's educate eachother.

children and technology

My 10 year old is stuck like glue on his playstation 3. I told him today I was going to take it and hide it where he won't be able to find it. His remark to me "mom me and my playstation are one, we can speak to each other I will just know where you have hidden it" then with a smurk he tells me "mom you are the best" like that's going to make me forget that he spends just to much time on that thing!

Smart kid I would say gets his A's and B's never a problem in school. Sometimes I wonder am I making a fuss out of nothing, still to me that is just not normal for a kid to sit all day long playing Little big planet with friends on-line. I sat and watch the game no violence just some house falling on you while you are trying to escape gee whiz fun!!!!!

Anyone out there who understands my dilema can input your opinion, none the less, I don't know if i am making a big deal out of this. We just got back from shopping and where does he head too straight to his room to attach himself to the game. go figure!!!
